Some behind the scenes photos of unpacking and packing day. A lot of hard work goes into getting all these works on the walls and back down again.
THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS WITHOUT WHOM THE SHOW WOULD NOT GO ON...OR UP!
Our very own Mrs Katie Dight hard at work cataloging.
Mrs Charm Arnott, a long time contributor to the show effort.
Plenty of unpacking still to do, and some of them were.... VERY BIG! Katie Dight helped by Tracey Stewart.
A special mention to Mr KIETH BLAKE who never fails to impress us with his fail safe packing methods.
This type of packing, cor flute box with flip lid, is lightweight, sturdy and very easy to unpack/pack. Inside this box Keith has made blanket/quilt pillowcases for each of the works with padding in between and also instructions on the inside of the box how to put it all back together.
It's JUST SO EASY and the best way to prevent damage in transit.
Thank you Keith, WE LOVE IT.
Mrs Kate Woodhead (on the left) and Mrs Anna Dawson. Erica Holcombe toiling away in the background.
Mrs Natalie Woods and her very hardworking mother in law, Mrs Bronnie Woods. A great pair.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO JULIE REARDON AND KAREN BACKUS, FOR HELPING ME HANG NEARLY 500 WORKS. THEIR HELP MADE THE JOB EASIER AND MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE.
No photos of these elusive hard-workers unfortunately.
