The opening of the 2015 Aspects Art Show was a night of celebration. Thank you to everyone that came together to celebrate the artistic talents of our region, and beyond, on the eve of this year's Goondiwindi Show.

As guests arrived they were greeted with students adorned with wearable art, signalling that this was going to be a night of colour and creativity.

The Arts Pavilion was filled with enthusiastic art lovers - and some who just came along for the party.

This year's judge, Wim de Vos, endeared himself to all with his enthusiasm and knowledge, making some difficult decisions with such a plethora of talent. Congratulations to all prize winners and exhibitors.

Many loved the art so much that they couldn't resist the wonderful selection of works for sale and will be taking home a piece or two.

Thank you to our sponsor of the Opening Night, McGregor Gourlay. Thank you also to the Goondiwindi Emu’s Junior Rugby who again provided the delicious catering.

And a big 'Well Done' to the committee, lead by Susie Kelly, and the many hard-working volunteers who made it all happen.
