With the entry deadline looming, Chief Steward Susie Kelly is encouraging all artists, young and old, to enter before next Monday.
“With the support of our wonderful local sponsors we have some generous prizes again this year with the Open Section prize of $3000, to Acquisition prizes ranging from $750 to $2200.
“Artists have the opportunity to have their work judged, gain recognition and perhaps sell their artworks to a crowd that love art.”
The free opening night will be held on Thursday 28th April, kicking off the Goondiwindi Show weekend and celebrating the talents of local and not-so-local artists who have entered this significant cultural event.
